What a 60 m² modular stand costs
European market rates put a full 60 m² modular build at roughly €9,900 to €21,000, which is about €165 to €350 per square metre. The rate is flat across the large sizes; what changes the total here is height, rigging and how much of the build is bespoke joinery rather than system. The spread is wide because the structure is only part of the cost. Height drives it first: a stand with a three-metre fascia and a suspended lighting rig sits near the top of the range, while a two-and-a-half-metre wall system with structure-mounted lighting sits near the bottom.
Graphics are the second variable. Printed panels are inexpensive; backlit lightboxes cost several times more per square metre and change how the stand reads from the aisle in a way that photographs never quite capture. Furniture is the third — catalogue pieces are included in the figures above, bespoke joinery is not.
What the range does not include is the floor itself. Space rental at a major German show runs somewhere between €180 and €400 per square metre before the stand exists, and organiser fees for power, waste and passes are charged separately again. We quote the build; the venue quotes the rest, and we will tell you what to budget for both.
One thing worth weighing at this size: the system is an asset, not a consumable. Spread across three appearances the per-show cost falls to a fraction of the first build, since only graphics and crew recur. If your calendar has one show in it, say so and we will price the alternatives honestly — a bespoke build sometimes makes more sense for a single flagship appearance.

What 60 m² actually gives you
Four zones that each work independently. At sixty square metres the stand can run a meeting, a demonstration, a hospitality conversation and open browsing simultaneously without any of them borrowing floor from another.
Height is where the money goes
The floor is no longer the constraint — the visible volume is. Suspended branding, a raised deck, a central tower and double-height elements are what distinguish a 60 m² stand from a large one, and they are also what the venue has the most rules about.
Build time at this size
Two days for structure and a full day for graphics, lighting, rigging and dressing. Sixty square metres does not fit a two-day build-up window without careful sequencing, and rigging usually has to happen before anything below it goes up.

How much does a 60 m² modular stand cost?
A full 60 m² build runs roughly €9,900–€21,000, about €165–€350 per square metre. At this size the total is driven by height rather than floor: rigging, a raised deck or a central tower can move a project across most of that range on their own. Structure, graphics, lighting, catalogue furniture, installation and dismantling are included.
Should I be looking at custom instead?
Possibly, and we would rather raise it than not. Modular remains right where you exhibit repeatedly and want the frame to travel. If the brief needs curved or cantilevered forms, acoustic separation across several rooms, or a second storey, a custom build is the correct answer rather than the extravagant one.
What determines whether rigging is possible?
The specific hall, not the venue. Height limits, available suspension points and load allowances differ between halls at the same site, and some prohibit rigging entirely. We confirm before the design commits, because swapping suspended branding for a floor-supported structure changes the silhouette and usually the budget.
Does 60 m² fit a standard build-up window?
Not automatically. Two days for structure plus a full day for graphics, lighting and dressing exceeds some organisers’ windows, and rigging has to be installed before the structure below it, so the order cannot be rearranged around a late delivery. We plan fabrication around your slot rather than the other way round.
How many zones can it support?
Four working independently — greeting, product, meetings and hospitality — with circulation designed as a loop between them. That is the practical maximum before the stand starts to feel like several small stands sharing a carpet.
How many visitors does it hold?
Thirty-five to fifty at once depending on how many are seated and whether a demonstration is running. Sustained crowds at that level need a scheduled demo slot rather than continuous presentation, or the circulation loop stops working.
Can the system be reduced for smaller shows?
Yes, into 30 or 45 m² configurations. The height elements are what do not travel down — a tower or suspended rig designed for 60 m² has nowhere to go on a 30 m² inline plot, so those parts sit in storage unless the smaller design is planned to use them.
What is not included in the price?
Floor rental, venue power and organiser fees. The significant separates at this size are rigging point charges, forklift or crane access during build-up, and daily cleaning, all billed by the venue. AV hire, staff, catering and between-show storage are quoted separately.
