What a 45 m² modular stand costs
European market rates put a full 45 m² modular build at roughly €7,600 to €16,000, which is about €169 to €356 per square metre at this footprint. Smaller stands carry a higher rate per square metre than large ones, because freight and crew are largely fixed regardless of area. The spread is wide because the structure is only part of the cost. Height drives it first: a stand with a three-metre fascia and a suspended lighting rig sits near the top of the range, while a two-and-a-half-metre wall system with structure-mounted lighting sits near the bottom.
Graphics are the second variable. Printed panels are inexpensive; backlit lightboxes cost several times more per square metre and change how the stand reads from the aisle in a way that photographs never quite capture. Furniture is the third — catalogue pieces are included in the figures above, bespoke joinery is not.
What the range does not include is the floor itself. Space rental at a major German show runs somewhere between €180 and €400 per square metre before the stand exists, and organiser fees for power, waste and passes are charged separately again. We quote the build; the venue quotes the rest, and we will tell you what to budget for both.
One thing worth weighing at this size: the system is an asset, not a consumable. Spread across three appearances the per-show cost falls to a fraction of the first build, since only graphics and crew recur. If your calendar has one show in it, say so and we will price the alternatives honestly — a bespoke build sometimes makes more sense for a single flagship appearance.

What 45 m² actually gives you

Open sides change everything
A 9×5 m inline stand and a 45 m² corner are the same area and a different brief. A corner gains a second approach and roughly forty per cent more visible frontage, which usually moves the counter off the back wall and into the corner itself.
Build time at this size
One to one-and-a-half days for the structure, plus half a day for graphics, lighting and dressing. That fits a standard two-day build-up with margin, which is why 45 m² rarely triggers overtime charges.

How much does a 45 m² modular stand cost?
European market rates put a full 45 m² modular build at roughly €7,600–€16,000, about €169–€356 per square metre. At this footprint the range is driven by height and rigging more than by floor: a three-metre fascia with a suspended lighting rig sits near the top, a two-and-a-half-metre system with structure-mounted lighting near the bottom. Floor rental, venue power, organiser fees and travel are separate.
How many people does a 45 m² stand hold comfortably?
Around twelve to eighteen visitors at once before it feels crowded, assuming a seated meeting area for four and an open display zone. If you expect sustained crowds you are better served by 60 m² or more, or by moving demonstrations to a scheduled slot.
Can I have a closed meeting room at this size?
Yes. A four-person enclosed room takes roughly eight to ten square metres, which 45 m² absorbs without starving the display area. Below 36 m² a closed room usually costs you the product wall, so we would suggest a screened seating area instead.
How long does it take to build?
One to one-and-a-half days for the structure, with graphics, lighting and dressing on top. That fits comfortably inside a standard build-up window at the major German venues.
Can the stand be reconfigured for a different size later?
That is the point of the system. The same parts regroup into a 24 or 30 m² footprint, or extend towards 60 m² with additional profiles. Graphics are the part that changes per configuration, and we plan the artwork so the main panels survive the change.
How much storage does it hold?
Around three square metres as a lockable storeroom, normally set behind the meeting area so someone can restock without crossing the display run. That is enough for bulk literature, packaging, coats and sample stock across a multi-day show without anything living in the venue cloakroom.
Do you install outside Germany?
Yes. We design and fabricate in Frankfurt and install across Europe, including Munich, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Cologne, Hanover, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona and Amsterdam. Freight and crew are quoted for the specific city.
What is not included in the price?
Floor rental, venue power connection and organiser fees sit outside the figure. At 45 m² two others are worth budgeting for: rigging points, charged per suspension by the venue and priced very differently between halls, and build-up overtime if your allocation falls in a short window — this is the first size where a delayed graphics delivery can push the crew past the organiser’s cut-off. AV hire, staff, catering and storage are quoted separately.
