What a 24 m² modular stand costs
European market rates put a full 24 m² modular build at roughly €5,100 to €10,800, which is about €212 to €450 per square metre at this footprint. Smaller stands carry a higher rate per square metre than large ones, because freight and crew are largely fixed regardless of area. The spread is wide because the structure is only part of the cost. Height drives it first: a stand with a three-metre fascia and a suspended lighting rig sits near the top of the range, while a two-and-a-half-metre wall system with structure-mounted lighting sits near the bottom.
Graphics are the second variable. Printed panels are inexpensive; backlit lightboxes cost several times more per square metre and change how the stand reads from the aisle in a way that photographs never quite capture. Furniture is the third — catalogue pieces are included in the figures above, bespoke joinery is not.
What the range does not include is the floor itself. Space rental at a major German show runs somewhere between €180 and €400 per square metre before the stand exists, and organiser fees for power, waste and passes are charged separately again. We quote the build; the venue quotes the rest, and we will tell you what to budget for both.
One thing worth weighing at this size: the system is an asset, not a consumable. Spread across three appearances the per-show cost falls to a fraction of the first build, since only graphics and crew recur. If your calendar has one show in it, say so and we will price the alternatives honestly — a bespoke build sometimes makes more sense for a single flagship appearance.

What 24 m² actually gives you
The first footprint where a genuine four-person meeting table and a proper storeroom coexist with a full display run. At 20 m² one of those three has to shrink; at 24 m² none of them does, provided the plot is not unusually narrow.
The threshold for a seated meeting
A four-seat table with usable chair clearance needs around six square metres of floor once you allow for people getting in and out. Twenty-four square metres absorbs that and still leaves eighteen for everything else — which is why this is the size buyers step up to when meetings start happening on the stand rather than beside it.

How much does a 24 m² modular stand cost?
A full 24 m² modular build sits at roughly €5,100–€10,800, about €212–€450 per square metre. The meeting area is what separates the two ends of that range: an open seating group costs a fraction of a screened one with its own partition, panel and lighting. Structure, graphics, lighting, catalogue furniture, installation and dismantling are covered. Floor rental, venue power, organiser fees and travel are quoted separately.
Can I have a four-person meeting table at 24 m²?
Yes, and this is the first size where it fits without compromising the rest of the stand. Allow around six square metres for the table once chair clearance is counted. That still leaves eighteen for display, greeting and storage.
Should the meeting area be screened or fully enclosed?
Screened, in most cases. A half-height partition with a graphic panel reads as private, costs a fraction of a built room and keeps the stand visually open. A fully enclosed room takes roughly a third of the floor at this size and makes the stand look smaller than it is — we build them when there is a specific confidentiality reason.
How much storage do I get?
Around two square metres as a lockable storeroom, normally beside the meeting area rather than behind the counter. Putting it there means someone can fetch samples mid-conversation without crossing the display run, which is the kind of detail that only starts to matter once meetings are happening on the stand.
How many visitors does it hold comfortably?
Eight to twelve at once, with four of those seated. Beyond that the circulation between the display run and the table becomes the bottleneck rather than the floor area.
How long does it take to build?
One to one and a quarter days for the structure, plus half a day for graphics, lighting and dressing. That fits a standard two-day build-up with margin.
Can the same system serve larger and smaller shows?
Yes. It regroups down to 18 m² and extends towards 45 m² with additional profiles, which is a wider span than the entry sizes manage. The meeting table is the element that constrains the downward move — it does not fit below about 24 m², so smaller configurations lose the seating and gain display.
What is not included in the price?
Floor rental, venue power and organiser fees are excluded at every size. Two are specific to what 24 m² is for: AV hire for the meeting area, since screens and conferencing kit are rented per show rather than owned, and catering, which becomes a real line item once you are seating people for scheduled appointments. Staff and between-show storage are also quoted separately.
